Name Ingredients:
Mung bean sprouts are edible silver-white shoots that are the result of germinating mung beans. Mung bean sprouts are packed with vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E, and niacin as well as potassium.
Key insights:
- The in vitro evidence suggests that mung bean sprouts have antioxidant properties, which may be beneficial for hair growth, however this doesn’t appear to have been confirmed in humans.
- While vitamin A may support hair growth in certain situations, too much can cause vitamin A toxicity and may actually lead to hair loss.
- Our experience tracking members: by itself, mung bean sprout extract is not enough to improve hair loss outcomes.
