Phototrichograms are non-invasive methods to analyze the health of the hair and scalp – typically by using micro-zoomed images benchmarked to a specific area of the scalp (as specified by a measurement location and/or tattooed freckle) to track changes to hair counts, hair diameters, hair densities, vellus hairs, and terminal hairs over the course of treatment.
